I think indigenous peoples should be a majority in every country. Now that would take a long time to achieve in countries like USA, but there can be policies implemented to do that

If immigrants take jobs, then people born in the country do too. And that means if someone is against more competition for jobs, they should be against any population growth and should advocate not only restrictions on immigration, but lowering the birth rates too

Actually I have read that in the USA >50% of people with PhDs in STEM are immigrants. This is mostly because Americans have such ridiculous prices for higher education, that many cannot afford it. I as a Russian from poor family can more easily become a professor in American university, by completing first steps of my education in Russia for free, than some American from poor family.

No, not necessarily. But most of people, who are currently anti-immigration, are xenophobic at least to some extent. I am for immigration control in countries, who have problems with unsustainable (for their environment) population growth. But that also means against any further population growth, including the one which happens due to high birth rate. When a person acknowledges downsides of unrestricted population growth when talking about immigrants, but at the same time promotes pro-natalist ideas - that is hypocritical. And too often you see reactionaries doing just that
