  1. A great idea would be to study other languages. English is my second language, I am constantly driven to improve it, so to see more and more subtle differences between words and concepts, and it helps me to analyze my own language the same way

  2. I have AdHD so I prefer audiobooks. I can listen to 3-5 audiobooks (and understand and remember much) in the same time I read 1 regular book (and understand and remember it to the same degree)

  4. We need to normalize having only one child. I was an only child and I grew up in time and place when poverty and struggle was everywhere. If I had even one sibling my parents would not be able to give us enough time and even financially afford everything. Many people mistakenly believe kids need siblings. No, kids need friends in their age group. In fact they need socialization outside of family independent on whether they have siblings or not. If your kid has friends, they'll not feel lonely. I didn't feel lonely

  5. Yeah sure. Guys can't find books while most books have only or almost only male protagonists 😂😂😂 I call this bs. Somehow women and girls are expected to be able to relate to male protagonists and enjoy books written mostly for guys, but guys look down on anything written about women, by women or in genre which are stereotypically "for women". If you can't find new books for your taste, read classics. There are thousands of boos written throughout centuries

  7. I have ADHD, I listen to audiobooks mostly. In the past I read text, but it took a looong time to read even one book. I still managed to understand those and remember very well

  10. It still depends on how people are raised. What they are taught at school. I use my phone to read books and listen to audiobooks. On youtube I often watch educational content about science.
