And those who are born have less opportunity than everyone, cause of expensive education. More than 50% of people with PhDs in STEM in the USA are immigrants. Much higher rate than in the average population. I, being from poor family in Russia, have better opportunity becoming a scientist in the USA, than someone from poor family in the USA, because I already had master's degree in the Russian uni for free, now I only need to finish my PhD and emigrate. While a poor American would be stuck with college debt for 50 years, cause education there costs so much, so no wonder many people don't even risk applying to the university

@brianisme6498 you finish your education at maximum 30 years (if you get a PhD), and woman's fertility drops significantly only after 35-38 years. So, no, it is not too late to have kids. See, for example, Kate Middleton, she married at 31. How many kids does she have now? I am tired with myths people perpetuate, they tend to imagine fertility falling much earlier than it actually does
