I understand your concern about the loss of life and the consequences of war, and it's true that the situation in Ukraine is deeply tragic. However, we must consider the Budapest Memorandum, where Ukraine gave up its nuclear weapons in exchange for security assurances from Russia, the U.S., and the U.K., safeguarding Ukraine's independence and sovereignty. Russia violated this agreement through its annexation of Crimea and invasion of Ukraine. While the U.S. and U.K. condemned Russia's actions, the U.S. is now seen as reneging on the Memorandum and playing into Putin's hands, leading to the belief that Ukraine should not have trusted the U.S. and U.K., especially under Johnson’s leadership.

About time too: GB News taking the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill seriously. If you are one who is against the lockdown measures, then this bill, when it becomes an act of parliament, takes away your right to protest. It is seriously authoritarian, giving more powers to the police. The aim is to: ‘impose conditions on protests that are noisy enough to cause “intimidation or harassment” or “serious unease, alarm or distress” to bystanders. Including protests consisting of one person.’ . This must be stopped as it undermines the very foundations of democracy in the UK .

Nigel and his fan boy Patrick can believe as they like, but it won't change the fact that if you want frictionless trade with the EU then you have to have regulatory alignment; if you want regulatory freedom then you can't have frictionless trade with the EU. I am sure the great GB News viewers will have better ideas of turning the UK into a booming Singapore without the 40% immigration and without making it into North Korea. So please share your ideas!!

GB News should not be considered a news channel : Calvin "common sense" Robinson

What's wrong with having a vaccination. Neil Oliver, and all at GB News have had to take a vaccination. So what? You can't be a martyr in an ICU.
5
What has Novara Media got to do with it? What nonsense.

I'm sick of the hate mongers saying "this is a Christian country". Not a shred of Christian compassion just wild accusations, scare mongering and dehumanisation.

Systems don’t hate ; they’re just structures created and maintained by people. The problem lies with those who design or uphold systems that are unjust. William Blake put it best: ‘I must create a system or be enslaved by another man’s.’ Instead of abandoning systems, we should work to transform them into something that aligns with justice and fairness. If we don’t shape them, someone else will - often at our expense.

@francesbrown5116 Which ones? Just repeating the words of those that wish to take your freedom from you!
5
How many of those could have been done in the EU? Answer: all of them . If you dispute this,, please tell me which ones and provide evidence that no other EU country can does these things .
5
People like you don't even take their human rights seriously. You would no doubt vote to jurisdiction of the ECHR so that 300 people could be shipped out to Rwanda. This is a bit snow-flakery, isn't it? Which human rights have been violated in your case? Maybe you should mov to Gaza, and see how many of the human rights are violated there.
5
Go on Mark, prove that God is a man! Bur first prove that God exists. At least it's easier than providing tangible evidence for Brexit!
5
Irony: a dope telling urging people to "wake up".

Why doesn't GB News cover the ideas that were discussed at the National Conservatism Conference ? Instead discussing the notion of the transcendent, we get crap like Harry and Meghan, and Holly and Phil, and right-wing culture war issues. Are you taking your viewers for fools? It seems GB News is hung up on the idea that the British workers are "addicted to popular culture and football" in the words of Truss, Kwarteng, Raab, Patel, and Pete Best (Skidmore).
5
Facts please. Who was charged with terrorism? Most were charged with violent conduct. Evidence, or else I will think you are a Russian bot
5
Since when is clapping an opinion?
5
The “real” Soviets would sympathise as they hadn’t got the real Communism; the Puritans would also as they didn’t get the real Christianity. Why don’t the UKIP and GB News contingent move to Rwanda and set up a free and independent UK? Much like the did Puritans in America and the Welsh in Patagonia.
5
How is having another referendum "anti-democratic"?
5
Is that supposed to be funny? No wonder right-wing comedy is so bad!
5
Making meat a culture war issue? Utter idiocy!
5
Certainly not on an industrial scale. That is the point. Since 1800 the global temperature has been rising. Before then there had been more or less similar rates. You seem to deny historical fact. The choice should be either to continue on this trajectory of global destruction or make changes to how we organise our economy - on a profit basis or based on human needs and sustainable technologies.
5
If it doesn't take a genius, then may you can tell us how the UK is better off trading outside of the EU .
5
Well you Reform UK members can vote for him to become leader! ... Oh no you can't, can you? Not a democratic party but a limited company.
5
What gives you hope for this nation is a government continuing to impose authoritarian laws and a people continuing to be acquiescent by learning to love a picture book fantasy view of British history that you learnt as a child. Some people are clearly able to lick the boot whilst it's stamping on their face !
5
Why? Because Reform UK would destroy the UK economy in order to pay back its donors? Like Truss 2.0. Apart from Tice, who is the talent and intellectual core of the party? What policies do they have - apart from stopping immigration, revoking people's human rights, and isolating the UK? I'd love to know!

30p Lee sees himself as a a hero and a relentless campaigner for "Post Office justice". Here is his total contribution before this week to his campaign for justice: In 2008, Harjinder Butoy, who ran a post office in Sutton-in-Ashfield, was jailed for three years and four months after he was wrongly convicted of stealing over £200,000. It has taken him 14 years to clear his name. He is bankrupt, he cannot get a job and it has destroyed his life. Compensation is one thing, but when are the people responsible for this going to be brought to justice*? (Horizon Compensation Arrangements: debated on *24 February 2022 ). What has he done in the intervening 2 years? Lee is too interested in his media career, and collecting his £10.000 per year from GB News to do anything more worthwhile for his constituents. 2024: Ashfield kicks out Anderson!

Surely shouldn't he first start represent his consistuents of Clacton by holding MP surgeries before he gets out his amphibious excavator.

You've been told: TAKE SIDES! Yours is Putin's! Stay true to KGB News!

You clearly voted for a North Korea on Thames.

I see the scrapping of the BBC Singers in its centenary year, and the slashing of the BBC orchestras as cultural barbarism . The diet of classical music on television is restricted to the Proms season. I remember the great arts programming that included the televised Wagner's Bayreuth centenary Ring on Sunday nights, the Pina Bausch's Rite of Spring , Bartók Bluebeard's Castle, George Steiner's documentary on the play and opera Lulu , the greatest art documentary series ever, Ways of Seeing by John Berger, partly a riposte to Clark's wonderful Civilisation . All these had a great influence on me. It's just a shame that the BBC does not have a forward thinking administrator like David Attenborough had been in the late 1960's/early 70's.

Those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities . – Voltaire
5
I am not pro-EU, to put it simply, I am against all institutions that are oppressive, and the Tory controlled UK government is far more oppressive than anything the EU has done .
5
I am sure you blame the previous Labour government for the expansion of higher education. Unwilling to relocate, to work for low wages, to work for zero hours contracts, to work seasonal jobs. Britian has become a low wage low growth economy, and it the work of the Brexiteers that required the this derregulation of the labour market and food standards, etc.
5
You mean the liar and a cheat but a bit of a character is now just a bigger liar and and a cheat?
5
The word "change" does have a meaning. Yesterday, the country had a Tory government, on Monday it will be Labour. That is a change. There done it for you.
5
Bless you for a such wonderful interview!
5
Trussonomics? It should be called what it is: class war!
5
@leehenry5764 Do you consider contraception depopulation? Buying a pack of condoms is depopulation, is it? Sure Stan's six kids certainly added to overpopulation.
5
Can you distinguish between facts and opinions? What facts did he provide?
5
And you are for racial harmony, are you?
5
Understandable that you have concerns about the UK Labour government, but rather than looking to external figures like Trump or Musk, the best way to address issues is through active political engagement, holding leaders accountable, and supporting policies that align with your values. Change starts at home! 🇬🇧
5
You mean treat him with the same inhumanity and viciousness you treat those you consider your inferiors?
5
Isn't it a human tragedy?
5
Actually, it's important to remember there was an inquiry - the Independent Inquiry into CSE in Rotherham, among others. However, the Tory government failed to implement many of the recommendations from these inquiries, leaving systemic issues unaddressed. Focusing solely on who voted for what risks ignoring the real question: why haven’t the recommendations been acted on to protect children ? Accountability needs to go beyond party politics.
5
@catch22again You've got the wrong PM: Rishi Sunak does not have dual citizenship, as India does not allow it, however Boris Johnson does. But obviously you wouldn't say the same about "Boris" now, would you?
5
I cannot take a man like David Davis seriously. He made himself a laughing stock here in Slovakia (& Czechia). Whilst Brexit Minister, he referred to Czechoslovakia as not having a current government. How can a negotiator with this level of ignorance command respect?
5
Come on GBers: you got your Johnson government, you got your freedom, you got your Brexit and the sovereignty you voted for . What is more, spring is on its way, Isn't it now time to be cheerful and thankful for small mercies?
5
You haven't been following this story since 2011, have you? A deformer come lately.
5
Actually, Poland has faced criticism for not fully complying with the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) rulings. The country's Constitutional Tribunal ruled that parts of the European Convention on Human Rights, particularly on fair trials, don't align with Poland’s constitution. This comes after years of controversial judicial reforms by the ruling party, which have been condemned by both the ECHR and the European Court of Justice (ECJ) for undermining judicial independence. So, it's not that Poland is completely ignoring the ECHR, but there’s definitely a clash between its national laws and European legal standards.
