You first should explain why capitalism is an ideology rather than just an exploitative economic system that puts the needs of profit over those of people, animals, and nature. What are the comprehensive set of beliefs, values, and norms that embody this ideology. William Morris wrote: Educate - We shall need all our intelligence. Agitate - We shall need all our enthusiasm. Organise - We shall need all our force.

As of the latest data, approximately 4.3 million children in the UK are living in poverty. This number represents about 29% of all children in the country and reflects a significant increase in recent years. For instance, from 2021/22 to 2022/23, there were 100,000 more children living in poverty (Action for Children). In 2023, the duration of sewage spills hit a record high, with untreated sewage being discharged for over 3.6 million hours, more than double the amount in 2022. (The Independent). Particularly affected areas include Cornwall, Devon and Dorset, as well as regions supporting delicate ecosystems like salmon and shellfish populations. You are of the T.I.N.A. (there is no alternative). How will Truth telling, and a right-wing capitalist economy based on low-regulation, high profit seek to solve these problems?

@stevesandars8549 You seem to be attracted to a right-wing trope of your own: that the alternative to living in capitalism is North Korean form of slavery You seem to have learnt nothing from your study of William Morris. He never gave up the hope of a better world where useful work replace toil. But reactionaries like yourself do not respond gladly to “hope” but rather engage in you petty little culture wars.

This is exactly why GB News has lost £73 million since it started to keep "the many" thinking it is all about individuals and not capitalism.
