Pensioners struggling with heating costs is a serious issue, but it's caused by factors like high energy prices, inflation, and government policies – not immigration. As for “illegal immigrants in luxury hotels,” most asylum seekers are placed in temporary accommodations, often basic and overcrowded, because of a lack of housing infrastructure. Using one group's hardship to demonise another is divisive and distracts from addressing the real issues.
