Whether in Syria or Ukraine, right-wing media outlets like this have shown that their sympathies do not lie with genuine liberation movements. For instance, they could spotlight and support the revolutionary efforts in Rojava – an autonomous region in northern Syria embodying the principles of anarchism in action, including grassroots democracy, gender equality, and ecological sustainability. Instead, they choose to back oppressive forces, framing tyranny as freedom and expecting their viewers to accept this blatant contradiction without question. This duplicity undermines the very values they purport to defend and reveals their priorities: consolidating power rather than empowering people.
