  3.  @MinkieWinkle  By “opening the floodgates”, you mean that Labour’s economic growth and relative low unemployment rate in the 2000’s meant there were more workers needed to fill gaps in the job market? By this, do you mean not requiring visas for citizens of the former Soviet-bloc countries of central and eastern Europe and thereby honouring the promise of the united Europe in which hundreds of millions of toilers be able to regain the simple joys and hopes which make life worth living (W.S. Churchill)? As for Reform UK: what policies do they have? Who funds them? How are they different to the Tories? What makes them anything more than a protest vote? Where is their pool of talent to stand at a candidate at every constituency in England and Wales? (remember, the election could be in May/June time). These are the kinds of questions that people need to know before voting for them.
