  1. Propaganda from the fossil fuel industry . Emily Carver and her Institute for Economic Affairs backed by fossil fuels companies will tell you that net zero will make you colder, poorer, less free. GB News is headed by a climate change denier. Reform UK’s Richard Tice sucks up to Koch Industries, another fuel and fertilizer company. Why does Tice and Farage have in interest in fracking and carbon-zero? Could it be something to do with Jeremy Hosking? Hosking has donated millions to the Conservatives and others, such as the Brexit Party and Reform UK. He also has $130 million interest in oil and gas industry. Aren’t these the people that promised that Brexit would you much better off? So why would you believe them on this issue ?

So you have nothing to say to the issues I raised. Having nothing to say indicates your inability to consider questions critically, and could also indicate your dependence on your "thought leaders" like Farage, like Carver and GB News. What you get, in the words of Orwell (_Politics and the English Language_ ), is question-begging and sheer cloudy vagueness . What do they have to hide? Who or what do they gain by doing so? How would you and the people of the UK benefit?

  3.  @uniquevideosUk  You really are patronising, aren’t you? People like you make unsubstantiated claims and yet have unbelievable confidence in your own reason/rationality. You have such a lack of knowledge and expertise; it is the Duning-Kruger effect in action. You refer to making “better air quality by doing small steps to make big changes that are also fun”, and your appeal to “common sense”. What these “fun steps” are you do not outline. As for the “common sense”, according to Gramsci, common sense is a chaotic aggregate of disparate conceptions, and one can find there anything one likes . Or in other words, misinformation! He thought people who promoted "common sense" were fearful of change and conservative. This is in contrast to good sense . I am also not sure what your "common sense" understands about global industrial production, the burning of fossil fuels, the cutting down of forests, and intensive farming methods, and the adverse effect of these on global warming. It seems your "common sense" comes from right-wing conformity to a GB News grift. But your "common sense" will also ignore the vested interests of the grifters, and ignore GB News’ and IEA funding model.
