Perhaps that is where we are, with social media you can engage your opinions, but not engage your humanity. As in Dante's Hell, Lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch'intrate (Give up all hope, you who enter) Of course, you're not going to LIKE this comment as it takes thinking . You would clearly rather engage your opinions than your humanity. Circularity.
