  2. We know what a referendum is! The people of the UK are still living with the consequences of your vote in 2016. Did you vote for the abolition of the law that protects the equality of pay of men and women? You probably didn't, but you probably wanted the government to slash the EU laws in order to “restore Parliamentary sovereignty”. However from January 2024, there will be an abolition of directly effective rights which will have an impact on equal pay. You should be concerned about it, but will there be a referendum on this? The right-wing media, which is a vehicle for right-wing MPs are silent about it. After all, it is what you voted for - to have you civil rights taken away.
