  1. Difficult to find significant impact and Impact is small . Not the convincing evidence that I was hoping for that Britain is outperforming the EU. The Pound has been in gradual decline since October 2020. Now what does this mean to people suffering the biggest fall in real-terms income and inflation reaching 8.4 percent in April?

  2. It is a fallacy to argue that because leaving the EU has had a negative impact, not leaving would have had a positive impact. But we should consider the economic evidence. Putting up trade barriers (the Trade and Cooperation Agreement ) has led to a 25 percent drop in imports from the EU in 2021.

So you will be able to answer these two straightforward questions: 1. Which laws and policy was the UK unable to introduce before 2020 ? 2. Since 2020 which laws and policy introduced would not have been possible in the EU ?
