  1. "The Franklin School from Berlin". Nailed it! I once watched a frankly ludicrous documentary that is on youtube on the Frankfurt School with Pat Buchanan as the main talking head. Worth a watch if you know your F.S. Also worth noting, they had a long list of researchers and yet produced possibly the worst reasearched and produced documentary ever . Aparently, Antonio Gramsci was a Frankfurt School Cultural Marxist that taught in the US in the 1930's, if you believe this documentary!

After all Erich Fromm was the avuncular intellectual that would pop up on American mainstream television and tell people that being a loving and compassionate person was the road to happiness and sold the young Marx as true cultural Marxism of unalienated labour, and a future society without capitalist exploitation. For example there is the wonderful Mike Wallace interview when unorthodox ideas were acceptable on television.
