  1. The debate on woke and the culture war is a mindless diversion. Let's speak about Charles Moore's attack on democracy, an enabler of the Johnson authoritarian government. Let's speak about: * The Health and Care Bill that will privatise the NHS; * the Nationality and Borders Bill that allows the Tories to revoke British citizenship of British born nationals of ethnic minority backgrounds; * the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill that will make it illegal to protest or face 4 years prison; * the Judicial Review and Courts Bill that strips lawyers and judges of power so that no one can challenge the government on any piece of legislation; * the repeal of the Human Rights Act will lead to a significant step away from independent judicial scrutiny and of the accountability of the government.

  4. The Tory government that has overseen a 38 percent rise in homelessness since 2010. What does that say that now 15 million people are in poverty? Now the aim is to strip citizens and workers of their rights. Not caring for the rights or welfare of anyone but their wealthy donors is the raison d'être of this government.
