  2. The claim that Keir Starmer let off Jimmy Savile is not supported by the facts. Keir Starmer, as Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), was not personally involved in the decision not to prosecute Savile. An independent review found that the decision was made by local Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) staff and that it was based on the evidence available at the time, which was insufficient for a prosecution. If Starmer were truly involved in such a decision, wouldn't it have been widely documented and scrutinised in official records and investigations? Why would so many independent sources, including the victims themselves, not have raised this directly against him if it were true ?
