I love animals, so I don't eat them or keep them as pets!

Don't scapegoat the water authorities! They are just capitalists trying to make an honest living. INSANE

Now too dumb to explain and substatiate your "claim".

@chazdomingo475 Bail out in 2008, bail out again in 2020, being propped up by multinationals and state treasuries throughout the world is not "doing pretty well".

Englishman4412 Not there is not such thing, there is no legal definition which is a different thing altogether.
1
@alanmckay7040 Are you 30p Lee? The UK currently has no official legal definition of "Islamophobia" because a consensus on its precise meaning has not been agreed upon. This doesn’t mean Islamophobia isn’t acknowledged; it simply lacks a formal legal framework. However, discrimination based on religion is still prohibited under UK human rights laws, which is in line with the British values of tolerance and equality. Anti-Muslim prejudice can therefore still be challenged legally, with the UK's commitment to protecting individuals from religious discrimination.

Englishman4412 Yes it would be were it not for the discrimination that Muslims find themselves subject to. You only have to consider the discrimination Muslims regularly face, whether in the workplace, hiring practices, or daily interactions. For instance, Muslims are often passed over for jobs or promotions due to wearing Islamic clothing or experience verbal abuse because of their appearance or beliefs. This everyday discrimination highlights that Islamophobia isn’t just an abstract idea but an issue impacting real lives.

@ebglua6804. Divert, distract, and divide: typical right-wing tactic. To substantiate this claim with evidence, recent Home Office data reveals that Muslims are disproportionately affected by hate crimes, comprising nearly 40% of religiously motivated incidents in 2024 – a 25% increase from the previous year and the highest level recorded since 2012. This alarming trend is driven by rising far-right sentiment, divisive political rhetoric, and systemic biases that negatively impact Muslim communities. @ebglua6804 Using tactics to divert, distract and divide groups is often seen in right-wing strategies. Recent data from the Home Office indicates a troubling rise in hate crimes, with incidents affecting Muslim communities making up almost 40% of all religiously motivated cases in 2024 – an increase of 25% over last year, marking the highest levels since 2012. This concerning trend appears linked to broader social factors, including political rhetoric and societal biases, which may disproportionately impact certain communities. @paulsawtell3991 I wouldn’t be so quick to claim moral high ground. While Christianity may have moved away from practices like stoning centuries ago, there are still authoritarian attitudes among some hard-right groups in the and Christian fundamentalists, especially in the U.S., who push for restrictions on human rights, women’s rights, and LGBTQ+ rights. The majority of Muslims today are tolerant and accepting, just like in any other faith. So before casting stones, it’s worth reflecting on the intolerance that exists within your own ranks.
1
@paulmarshall3803 Actually, Islam has had a profound historical impact in many areas. Islamic scholars preserved and advanced knowledge in mathematics (like algebra), astronomy, medicine, and philosophy during the Golden Age, which greatly influenced the Renaissance in Europe. Islamic architecture also left a lasting legacy, seen in places like Spain’s Alhambra. In terms of law and banking, concepts such as contracts and ethical banking were influenced by Islamic principles. Edward Said, in Orientalism , argued that Western views often overlook or distort the contributions of Islamic and Eastern cultures due to a Eurocentric perspective.
1
@paulsawtell3991 This position is somewhat dodgy as it unfairly generalises extremist beliefs to all Muslims, reinforcing harmful stereotypes. It also misses the opportunity for constructive dialogue by not addressing similar issues in other groups, such as Christians!

Yeah, you gotta love Koch, Olga I mean!

One "like" is not enough!!

@AndiWard You reached the crux of your conspiracist outlook. The idea of "replacing a population with a different culture and ethnic group" is not based on reality - it's a fictional narrative that has no grounding in actual policy or intention.
1
Poor "Boris", he didn't know about parties that went on under his nose! It was his staff's fault! Then Johnson, in the highest political office in the land, was taken for a mug, and therefore should be sacked. But instead he gave honours to those at the party in December 2020. Not a pattern one would recognise of someone being fooled! All Johnson's sychophants are distancing themselves from reality. I hope Lia Nici is duly punished at the next GE.

"Lockdown killed more people than it saved." A totally unsubstantiated claim. Maybe I should be posting this on GB News, but would anyome like to support this claim with empirical evidence .

Darren, does the Nat.Cs share your LGBT commitments you had before you threw your lot in with the Brexit grifters? Now you're a major predatory presenter on Brexit's main propaganda channel.

What surprised me most was the measured response from the guy at the end. Maybe we will be seeing more of him, or maybe he is not enough of a "loon" for Reform.

2016 : Leave the EU to control immigration, and take back control of our borders. 2023 : Leave the ECHR to control immigration, and take back control of our borders. 2024 : Leave the ECHR to deport immigrants.

Using the Bank of England inflation calculator, £1,000 in 2010 was worth £1,492.59 in April 2024. Or £1,000 today was worth £669.98 in 2010.

Hitler went full on Truss in the 1930's: blaming Bolshevik bankers, lefty lawyers, illegal immigrants. Woke? Kulturbolschewismus !

Like a footballer saying: no need to be competitive about it!!

The ex-skinhead ticked all the boxes: control / mind / TRUTH / lockdown / sheep / 15-minute cities / AGENDA / the Great Reset / the digital currency and Central Banks BINGO! Didn’t get to indigenous white people or the Great Replacement theory.

We say "ignorance is bliss", but with these people ignorance is an intentional agenda by populist parties to control, and to distract, divert, and divide .

Especially whilst on an electric scooter!

August 2019 when "Boris" stripped 21 MPs of the Tory Whip, it became a Brexit sect.

YES, she's read all right-wing talking points, the "the agendas" of WEF, WHO, EU, and knows enough about climate science, and immunology to know that all experts are "brainwashed" "sheep", and doing nothing benefits everyone! Especially those disaster capitalists in that support the Reform party .
