@baneofbanes What I'm trying to say is that the resources that remain after Collapse won't be accessible to restart our modern civilization. The "modernity" if you may, will only be reserved for the high classes while everyone else lives in a sort of mix between a few modern consumer goods and a pre-industrial lifestyle

@baneofbanes No as in we've already depleted most of the natural resources needed for industrialization that could be easily extracted. All the ones left have a high EROI and need complex apparatus to extract
