  1. Regardless of what the results of this test, Japanese made stuff is superior to Chinese made products. Often times, made in Japan are sold only for the Japanese market for their own countrymen. They are one of the few countries that still have pride and shame... and they don't want to sell a shameful product. The Japanese brands made in PRC or elsewhere are for export only, and not sold in Japan. Another product that is far superior made in Japan are rice cookers. If you want a $50 rice cooker, that's from PRC. If you want a nice $250 rice cooker, that's made in Japan. If possible, I would buy a Japanese made car over other mfg countries of origin.
