  1. How can a 150K car be in such bad shape?!?! They appear to take it into the shop often for work... but the question is, why is there so much work to be constantly needed? I had a 2006 Honda Accord for over 15 years, and the only things that failed was the cruise control button on the steering wheel failed in year 8 or 9, a the rear trunk lift support shock spring strut failed, and I think one of the turn signal bulbs.

  2. Given the buyer chose to not get a pre-purchase inspection... bad decision. It's prob compounded by the fact that they chose a mechanic that has never driven a Porsche, let alone know how to start the car. That's prob not the best choice of mechanics either. That's like having a heart attack, and going to see a optometrist for a diagnosis. They may be a great optometrist, but prob not the right person to work on your heart.

  3. You really need a checklist. You missed the front wipers, rear wiper, and wiper fluid test. Missed the coolant level check. Other optional checks would be defroster, rear defroster, and radio. You mentioned the belt cracking, but never referred back to that again. It A checklist will ensure you cover however many points you want, and also leave room for notes.

  4. Are you serious that you don't understand why customers are always skeptical of auto mechanics? Have you watched your own videos, and how some "repairs" are made by other mechanics that you end up fixing?!?!
