  2.  @ulftnightwolf  That can be debatable since the US dollar has strengthened over the past 10 years (it was ~$1.30-$1.40 USD to a EURO pre-2015... and is now trading at $1.16 USD today). Just looking at the chart, the EURO dipped below $1.00 USD in Aug 2022. If the USD further strengthens against the EURO, it might be a wash. That said, US buyers should've been buying Made in USA as the first choice to begin with (assuming the products price to value was there/within reason).

  3.  @ulftnightwolf  Can you elaborate on what "services" the US was providing to the EU that the EU was paying for to offset the $235B annual trade deficit? Was the the free US military contributions to NATO or something else?

  4.  @ulftnightwolf  Once again, what are these "services" that's being provided? Just stating "services" doesn't mean anything. Can you give me specific examples, and the value of these examples?
