No all degrees, and universities are created equal. If someone has a PhD from a top 5 university in artificial intelligence, electrical engineering, or silicon engineering... I'm sure they can find a job. However, just like in the US, if someone get's a master's or PhD from a 2nd tier, 3rd tier, or unaccredited university in underwater basket weaving, communications, archaeology, art history, or gender studies... finding a job will be hard.

No, if you can't find a job... it is ABSOULTELY your fault. It's either lack of skills, experience, or ability to contribute. If someone is working, that means they have more value to the company than you. Don't blame the economy... take responsibility. I can say whoever quit their job is beyond stupid, and most likely an idiot, and shouldn't get hired again. If they hate their job (which I have at some point in my life also)... they should be looking for a new job while working, vs being unemployed. Being unemployed has a stink of being worthless, since no one is willing to hire you (or they fired you because you don't provide value or a problem employee)... if you are employed, and looking for a job, another company can say... well, if some other company finds value in them, maybe they can be of value here.

If someone looks for white swan events (extremely rare positive events), a fair lottery can provide such an event. While low income people tend to play lotteries most often... but the alternative is where else can someone spend $1 or $2 and win $100,000,000 USD? While the odds are against someone from winning.... but someone does win with a massive upside result. Is it worth playing a ticket or two... yes. Is it worth spending $100 or more a week... no. In addition, I would say, only play the lottery (legal, fair) when it's a life changing result. Playing a $2 lottery for $1,000 is stupid... however, playing for $100,000,000+ opportunity, IMO could be worth it if someone has $2 to spare (lose).

The fact is, the more educated the child or teen, the better off they'll be in life. Feelings will not fill your tummy, put a roof over your head, or keep you warm in winter. And yes, in real life, it's mostly winner takes all... there will be some winners... and a lot of losers. And once you are a loser, it's very very very hard to get out of that... because there is someone always smarter, younger, and more talented. So the choice is to start with feelings, or start with getting the best education?

People may blame the government all they want... but the final reason the situation they are in is due to their own decisions. It's not like there is 90% unemployment... most people are still working, and living. For students, the two years before graduating... did they do internships to get work experience and connections... or did they go on vacations and spend endless hours on their smartphone? For someone older who is 35yo+... how much savings do they have? Outside of a mortgage, how much debt did they incur for a car, dining out/take-away, vacations, and needless products? Also, for both, did you get an education that is in demand like engineering, bio science? For the adult man, why didn't you do research on the company you are joining... if they are about to fail within three months, the warning signs must be obvious.

@tukahimata1416 This was a young guy, so prob not a roadside job, but looking for an office job. That said, even if it's a roadside job, then he could prob check if restaurants need a dishwasher, busser, or convenience store clerk. From what I can tell, a lot of these young people don't want to take jobs that they don't like or is hard work (manual labor). Even in America, the best time to look for a job is when you have a job... any job. Employers will look at you differently if you are employed and looking to do better... vs unemployed, and handing out 1,000 generic carbon copy resumes.

There are zero secrets if there is a major attack or invasasion. Why? It's the logistics needed to supply tens of thousands of troops, along with stockpiling of medical supplies, and doctors. That's why Russia's invasion of Ukraine was well known, because they had to amass huge number of troop, arms, and supplies. For any invasion of TW, it would require a high concentration of both planes, rockets, pilots, and above all else, fuel and spare parts. Given these things are easily tracked, any invasion should not be a surprise.

@sbalogh53 I can see making a complex dish at home could cost more than ordering a single dish... as some recipes require certain items, and they are only sold in much more quantities than it takes to make one dish, so the extra may go to waste. However, most basic dishes are simple, use few ingredients, and much cheaper to make at home. For example, a huge pot of rice can prob be made for less than $1 (all one needs is rice, water, pot, and stove). The extra rice can easily be made into fried rice the next day for maybe $1 more (egg, onion, carrot, peas, soy sauce, pan, stove). Other easy, and delicious dishes can be roast chicken (salt, pepper, oven), and the bones can make a broth or soup. A bag of rice or potatoes don't cost much, but can easily feed a family with many tasty dishes cheaply. If one is low on, or does not have money, they should stretch out their funds as much as possible, since they don't know where their next check/cash will come. Having tasty food doesn't have to be expensive, but it does take a little bit of work in the kitchen.

@SlavTiger You do know these clips are all framed and edited to look bad right for views... to make a buck? This isn't real news, it's basically entertainment and propaganda wrapped together. And if it didn't draw clicks and views, they won't get paid... so of course they are going to publish sensationalized, and extreme videos. In the early clips, they complain about having weekend sports games (which they do in the US also), but later, another school complain they can't play sports on the weekend. These videos are mostly edited clips, and unless you understand Chinese, the narrator can say anything they want, and we wouldn't know. I recommend you start thinking for yourself, vs just believing everything you hear on YT.
