  1. I don't know how car sales are done in PRC... but in the USA, no one pays sticker (list) price for any car today. Often, the sticker price is inflated quite a bit, and the actual sales price could be -10% or more than sticker price, and then there could be manufacturer discounts or rebates. It's not uncommon to find new Stellantis trucks sell for -20% or more from sticker price. In addition, auto companies do not lower new model year pricing, but what they do is introduce a lower end model or trim that is cheaper (less features, smaller, etc). Can someone with direct knowledge comment did BYD actually reduce the price of the exact same model/trim/features for the next model year?
