  1. The three biggest unknowns of China's military is leadership, combat experience, and equipment reliability & effectiveness. Even Russia, who has been in many conflicts over the past 50 years.... China really hasn't had any major military conflict since the Korean war (over 50 years ago).

  2.  @Karter_Blackpaw  That conflict lasted for ~27 days, and China withdrew afterwards. I'm not going to count that as a "major" sustained conflict (nor the border skirmishes with India, or the water/axe fights with the Philippines). But with TU you for remembering that!
