  1. Yawn... more scare tactics. While China is expanding it's sea presence, it will back down from US because 1) China is not self sufficient, and reliant on trade for food, money, and advance technology. Any embargo to China will result in their collapse within a year due to mass starvation; 2) China has several weak points ranging from the Three Gorges Dam, lack of defense to stealth bombers, and lack of any real military experience in a major conflict (since Korean and Vietnam war... nearly 50 years ago); and 3) aside of not having the financial resources for a major conflict, the likely entire South China Sea plus Korea & Japan will go against China, there is the looming issue with India who will likely take the oppty to reclaim/settle the disputed regions plus resolve their upstream damn/fresh after issue. And that's not including their internal domestic issue of negative population growth, and a very quickly aging population.
