If aliens do attack, and they keep humans alive... it's only very very bad news. It means they want living beings to harve something from us that can't be replicated (such as our soul or individualism/personality). If they can master interstellar travel, they can prob whip up a bio virus to wipe out humans in a few seconds that attacks our DNA if they wanted. So if they kept humans alive, it's prob for an unspeakable horror.

They had UAP congressional hearings in 2024. This is as close to actual confirmation that 'something' is out there... if this was done in 2000, everyone would be laughed out of the room. Now you have a public congressional hearing... actual military video showing UAPs. Aside of Mork coming out of an egg saying Nanoo-Nanoo... it's almost assured we'll have some type of announcement in 10-20 years.

I would agree these scenarios may happen, and a Ford carrier group has very good counter measures. However, one item that was not discussed was a nuclear weapon. A nuke doesn't have to get that close to a carrier for it to have devastating impact (but closer is obviously more dangerous)... all it has to do is irradiate the ship enough where exposure for an extended period of time (hours, days) is lethal to sailors.

@origintrackz5235 It's insane to think aliens would have same, similar, or even care about human values. Do we care about the values of amoebas or ants? Also, if there is one alien species... that means there's likely a lot more out there. And each would have their own priorities... and even if 99.9% are peaceful, who is to say we run into the 0.1%. The Twilight Zone episode To Serve Man should be a cautionary tale.

The $300M spent to get the sub from the black budget program... this is the reason why naval toilets cost $400,000 each. It's black funding is buried as overpriced items... and no one really knows how much things cost.
