  1. All they need to do is put it in a box where they found it, and when it starts to cry/screech loudly, the mama bobcat will come and get it. It's very unlikely a mother bobcat would leave a healthy kitten... and prob spend a few days looking for it before giving up. If it was abandoned, it would likely be either severely deformed or injured (which looks like neither).
