  1. Social media and gaming. It created unrealistic expectations for women, and gaming provided a distraction & community that men never had before. No one to blame but the government, because they encouraged and supported all of this... thinking it would undermine the West (US, EU), which it did. However, just like the unintended consequences of the one-child policy, the unconstrained use of social media and gaming has also drastically impacted PRC negatively.
