  1. ] [nm ,While this person has ambition... but he has a fatal flaw, very very stubborn. In each story, it's his personal decisions which caused his own failure...including not taking other's advice, pursuing "get rich quick" farming schemes, and likely keep spending, and worse, borrowing money when the venture is failing. The narrator is right... he should marry his GF, who's stuck with him through the tough times... as he'll never ever find such a woman at 41yo, no assets, and deep into debt. No normal woman would want to marry such a guy.
