  3. I think the common denominator is social media and smartphones. People are easily swayed by stupid "influencers", and unrealistic expectations... especially for those who are poor, middle-class, and only average or less looking. IMO, I think social media has impacted women much much more than men when it comes to dating, and relationships.

  4. The village girl with a blind date BF needs to get to the source of the flowers and condoms thing... he could be a virgin, he could be ordering it for a friend, or he could be lying. That said, if you scrolled through his purchase history, there must be chat logs with another girl(s)... and if there wasn't any, then there might be an excuse. Also, did you have a discussion of being exclusive or not? If not exclusive, he can still date other women until you agree to be exclusive.

  5.  @extended_e  I suspect neither are virgins... she admitted to having at least one BF (and of course, she's not going to say she's not a virgin on an online blast). It's the part of getting a hotel, flowers, and condoms that could be sketchy if it wasn't for her or a friend.
