  1. If you have no money, and no visitors going to a nursing home will be a living hell for however long you live. Once the caregivers know no one is visiting you, you'll get treated poorly, and who will listen to your complaints? If you complain, and can't move to a different home, they will feed you garbage, won't change your diaper, and cut off the power to your room. They can also tell other residents not to talk to you, or they may get treated terrible also. So unless you have money, or someone to visit you, going into a nursing home is a living horror movie.
