  2. If someone is going on five blind dates a month, that's 60 people a year. In addition, if these people have been pre-screened for basic compatibility, then there's something wrong here. Either the person wasn't honest in telling the matchmaker what they are looking for, or they are extremely critical and no one can meet their dream criteria, or they are just not serious, and dating for "sport" or "free stuff".
