  2.  @spencerian  A dinner at an upscale restaurant can easily run $300+ person if there is a free flow of higher end alcohol. A nice bottle of wine can easily run over $300+ and you only get 4-5 pours. High end whiskies can easily be $100+ per drink. Plus, in America, there's prob ~8% sales tax plus another 20%-25% gratuity (tip).
