I think the two most important tips you provided is 1) if you aren't getting the deal you want, leave, and 2) "out the door" price. That's the cost you'll pay for that car, regardless of how they craft the sale (car price, accessories, doc fees, extended warranty, etc)... sometimes, dealers or sales or finance guys have certain incentives, which they want to hit. For example, you may hear of a dealer willing to reduce the price of the car for the cost of the extended warranty, so it's essentially the extended warranty is "free". All that means is that you are overpaying for the base price of the car, but the finance guy is making a commission selling you the warranty (shafting the sales guy). If you are comfortable with the price, why not get the extended warranty without paying more? The other item not discussed, is that if buying a new car... and they pile on the OEM accessories you don't want... you can alway tell them to take if off the car (when possible), or just say you are willing to pay 50% of price (which is prob what it cost them, if it's an OEM part). FYI.. nitrogen is free... the air we breathe is 78% nitrogen.

I warn the husband that your wife would never return to work. I know an older man who married a woman who used to make over $100,000 USD per year before they were married. She didn't like her job, so she took a buy-out (quit). She was supposed to go back to school to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse. They got married, he put her name on the house deed while he worked, she she went to school. Fast forward six years... she is still going to school, taking 1 class per semester, not working part-time, stay at home watching TikTok, shop online, they have no kids, and doesn't cook. Now, he's the only one working, and likely never retire.

Whatever dealership you are going to that allows you to roam is a rip-off dealership. @8:05 mark, that 2025 Chevy 2500 LTZ 4WD has a Std price of $62,000 plus $1,995 destination should be $63,995. However, that dealership piles on options packages ($9,000), and dealer installed options($4,074) for a total of $13,074 to bloat the price up to $77,069, or +20.4% more. If the dealer can't sell that truck, it's on them... for piling on options to squeeze more money from customers.

I suspect Barbie is a single mom. Back seat you got a baby seat with a kid throwing food, spit, milk, juice, pee, and whatever. Front passenger seat, since there's no guy sitting there, they they prob put drink trays that spills... soda, juice, coffee, smoothies, or fast food grease that soak through the bag, etc. There is obviously no passenger on the front seat given that dirty.

There are three big reasons why youth unemployment is high... 1) there are more and more college graduates that have worthless degrees. This includes fashion, social media, underwater basket weaving, women's studies, etc. 2) mass addiction to social media, which creates short attention spans, sets unrealistic expectations, and just rots the brain. It's like watching cartoons for 12 hours a day, and expect real life to be a cartoon. and 3) as part of social media rotting youth's brain, and unrealistic expectations. Parents have been enablers. With the one-child policy for several generations, these children are spoiled rotten. So when you have a spoiled rotten young adult, with short attention spans and unrealistic expectations... and thrown in a worthless education, this is what you get... China today (which is still better than how US youths are).

Just be aware that large corporations have all sorts of financing and accounting gymnastics. The larger loan-loss reserve is just a precaution for potential delinquencies... however, they can also increase that reserve to lower their income to reduce paying taxes, and also manage their earnings. For example, if those loan-losses never materialize, that's profits they are keeping on the books which they can release in the future. In addition, the Fed just lowered interest rates by 500 basis points (or 0.5%) to 4.83%. That means, CarMax can borrow money cheaper, and still charge lower credit customers 23%. While CarMax prob isn't paying 4.83%, but maybe 6%-7% for their money with inventory as collateral. So they borrow at 6%-7% from banks, and charge 23% to customers, and they make 16%-17% profit per year.

@stevec3526 I have no problem with the cost of the purse. What is the problem is that guy only makes 10,000 yuan, and that she is basically demanding him for 3/4 of a month's salary for something that has no value to him. If he made 800,000 yuan a month, then 8,000 yuan purse might be a bit more acceptable. That said, she's just a greedy gold digger, and not serious about the relationship. If she thought he might be her husband in the future, she would think why spend that much money on a pursue vs investing it or save it to buy a house for their future together. That said, I think she's 32yo based on her bday in 1992... so she's left over and used up, and will likely have to find a 55 or 60yo man to take her in.

The hard reality is that, regardless if in China, US, or Europe... the hardest time to find a job is when you don't have a job. First, if you are unemployed, that means another company did not find value in your contributions. If another company didn't value your contributions, why would a new one? Second, if someone has changed their job frequently, that means a lack of attachment to a company. Hiring someone often takes many months, or even up to a year, before an employee starts to make meaningful contributions. A company does not want to make the investment, and training for someone to then just leave after they just started making contributions. Third, an experienced employee typically has higher salary demands. A company must make an evaluation of hiring someone making 20,000 yuan per month vs 30,000 yuan per month. That's a 50% increase in pay, and that's 100% less profits.

I am only guessing, but I assume why franchise dealers don't detail a car before it goes to auction is that the detailers are part of the service department, and the trade-in sits on the sales-side of the books. Each side, sales and service, have their own revenue and profit targets for the month and quarter. So every time the sales-side asks the service-side for work (repairs, inspection, estimates), the sales-side has to "pay" the service-side. If the sales-side knows it's going to auction, they prob don't want to put any more money into the car before selling it (esp if there's a risk of no-sale... they spent $$$ to detail a car that's not going to sell). In watching some of these other YT videos on mechanics, the service side does not appear give any discounts when charging the sales-side (not up front, maybe at the end of the month or quarter, some % might get knocked off).

Women do not understand what men value. It's completely different than what a woman values (money, money, money). Men looking to marry values these things in a potential partner in this order... low body count (not promiscuous), nice & gentle personality, youth, physical appearance (slim, pretty face, height/weight proportionate), and spending & bad habits (don't over spend, borrow, gambling, drugs, excessive drinking). When listening to these women, most can't even get pass the first two requirements, and definitely not number 3 (youth).

In a country that has more men than women, it should be very very easy for a woman to find a partner. However, it's the insidious social media, which is promoted by the Chinese gov't, especially to the Western youths, which crept back into China... resulted in destroying both Western and Eastern children. In wasting their time on a phone vs studying or making money, setting up unrealistic expectations for both partners and society, and creating a generation of entitled, demanding, and insolent youths. In trying to subvert the West, China actually subverted themselves via promotion of social media.

No all degrees, and universities are created equal. If someone has a PhD from a top 5 university in artificial intelligence, electrical engineering, or silicon engineering... I'm sure they can find a job. However, just like in the US, if someone get's a master's or PhD from a 2nd tier, 3rd tier, or unaccredited university in underwater basket weaving, communications, archaeology, art history, or gender studies... finding a job will be hard.

Denmark has a unique culture, which still has a lot of national pride, something the US prob hasn't had since WW2. The citizens work hard (during their 38hr work week), have a sense of downtime (most stores are still closed on Sundays or have shorten hours), the tax rate is insane (25% VAT, and various income taxes up the wazoo, even worse than California), and very restrictive borders (very difficult to get citizenship if non-citizen). However, they have free healthcare, free higher education, employment protections, and extremely low violent crime rates.

That one better looking girl who like simps is definitely a gold digger. She may be fine with 5,000 yuan salary today... until there she meets a guy who make 8,000... then will trade up to someone who's making 12,000, and then 20,000. However, the guy making 20,000 will get tired of her after boom-boom, she'll have to start back again with a guy making 5,000 till the next 8,000 simp comes around.

@bharathkashyap4435 Keep believing that. In the US, 80% of all divorces are initiated by the woman, and women love sex just as much as men, but they don't say it aloud (and I assume this is prob about the same in Asia). One day, she being so pretty, maybe she might feel entitled (deserves) to be with someone better looking, richer, taller, younger, etc. It may not be a divorce, but it could be something on the side. Never know, but hopefully that will never happen.

If you have no money, and no visitors going to a nursing home will be a living hell for however long you live. Once the caregivers know no one is visiting you, you'll get treated poorly, and who will listen to your complaints? If you complain, and can't move to a different home, they will feed you garbage, won't change your diaper, and cut off the power to your room. They can also tell other residents not to talk to you, or they may get treated terrible also. So unless you have money, or someone to visit you, going into a nursing home is a living horror movie.

No, if you can't find a job... it is ABSOULTELY your fault. It's either lack of skills, experience, or ability to contribute. If someone is working, that means they have more value to the company than you. Don't blame the economy... take responsibility. I can say whoever quit their job is beyond stupid, and most likely an idiot, and shouldn't get hired again. If they hate their job (which I have at some point in my life also)... they should be looking for a new job while working, vs being unemployed. Being unemployed has a stink of being worthless, since no one is willing to hire you (or they fired you because you don't provide value or a problem employee)... if you are employed, and looking for a job, another company can say... well, if some other company finds value in them, maybe they can be of value here.

The reality is that no one cares what you, the person who is looking for a job. What counts how the person hiring thinks. Life is not fair, and yes, you can maybe pursue legal action... but that's not going to get you a job, nor any job in the future once other companies know you have a history of filing lawsuits. What I've found is that when looking for a job unemployed, that carries a huge stigma, of which why aren't you working today... no other company finds any value in your work? Vs if you are currently employed, looking for a job is a lot easier... since you are less stressed about finding work... you have money coming in each payday... and if the company you are applying for, they see that another company values your work, which makes you more desirable. In addition, if you are currently working, and they want to hire you, they may be willing to pay you more... since you aren't desperate for a paycheck.

Here's a possible idea for future testing. Large home fans/air circulators. With a hot summer coming soon, I think a lot of subscribers would be interested in you testing various large fans. Some recommended models could be the cheap box fan (WalMart or Amazon), 783 Vornado (large, brushed), 783DC Vornado (large, brushless), 683 Vornado (medium size), basic 16" and 18" stand fan (WalMart or Amazon), and maybe 42" tower fan or a commercial garage fan. Testing could include: CFM per mode (Hi/Med/Low), power consumption per mode, db per mode, and you can get creative to test air flow distance (does it blow 5ft or 10ft or 30ft?).

As you point out, when you are young, you talk about stupid, trival things, or about chasing girls. As people get older, people's priorities have changed... marriage, money, work, GF. The illusion of "pure" friendships are fake relationship... if you want these friends, it's easy. Just go to a bar, and buy strangers drinks... they will be your friend as long as you are buying them drinks (of course, they will never buy you drinks).

The woman with glasses is delusional, and needs to check if she has a brain tumor. She's older, barren, poor (can barely afford 86 yuan), exhausing, and demanding and can't find a man. Now, with an added bonus, she is sick. What man would want to marry, let alone date, a woman who has nothing to offer, but their burdens?

Having owned many many kitchen knifes... I found that Mercer Genesis is a very very good value for the dollar. It's very affordable, easily available online, use of German steel, keeps a very sharp edge for a long time, forged, and NSF. The only downsides are that it's made in Taiwan, half tang, and it's a little heavier than most knifes. I would rate Mercer Genesis higher than Victorinox knives at similar price points. That said, I've owned that Farberware set before, and it's not very good, and not worth even $20 (unless you have no knives at all).

While not the sexiest product to test, what about writing instruments such as ball point, gel, and markers. It's an everyday product which everyone uses, and has several of them (often frustrating when it doesn't write, or doesn't write on certain surfaces, or it become dried out after a while). You can get them from WalMart or Amazon, and test smearing, smoothness of writing, different surfaces (metal, glass, plastic, tape, wood, cement, etc), fade resistance, temperature (freezer), amount of ink, tip durability (PSI till crushed), and case toughness (lbs to crack or snap in half). I can imagine some pretty cool testing gadgets you can build to conduct some of these tests. Brands you can test include cheapie BIC, regular pencil, Papermate, Pentel Energel, Pilot G2 or Pilot FreXion (erasable ink), Uni-Ball 207, Sharpie marker, grease pen, laundry pen, ball point, etc.

If a single man is 35yo, tall, rich, paid off home, and car... why would they want to marry a barren women? What does a man of that age would want? The only thing they don't have is someone who can give them children, which older women can't. Even if they wanted a partner, and not children... why not date someone 21 who is young, and happy vs someone who's been used up by many men, no longer young, demanding, and often constantly unhappy.

I get why you need to pander and support (rah-rah apologist for) the military machine... that's how you get paid, and get access. However, yes, the US defense budget is bloated, grossly inefficient, and wasteful. If the US was more efficient with spending, and efficiency, not just in military, Americans would be better off. Also, why does the US need to be the world's primary police force? When as government been efficient at anything it does? Where is the economies of scale? Af for defense "spending"... if you pile on all that foreign "aid" and related spending, it's prob well north of $1T+ a year.

In each story, it's his personal decisions which caused his own failure...including not taking other's advice, pursuing "get rich quick" farming schemes, and likely keep spending, and worse, borrowing money when the venture is failing. The narrator is right... he should marry his GF, who's stuck with him through the tough times... as he'll never ever find such a woman at 41yo, no assets, and deep into debt. No normal woman would want to marry such a guy.

Chinese people in general love formalities, but are often blunt and crass. While there are nanners to "show face"... but when it's mostly in private or not among friends, they are classless, rude, and demanding. Plus, the older they get, the more rude they become. If a woman demand a man to be 1.75M tall, make 300k yuan, own a house & car... then the man can demand a woman that is 21yo, cooks, thin, pretty, is nice, cleans, and willing to raise children.

If someone looks for white swan events (extremely rare positive events), a fair lottery can provide such an event. While low income people tend to play lotteries most often... but the alternative is where else can someone spend $1 or $2 and win $100,000,000 USD? While the odds are against someone from winning.... but someone does win with a massive upside result. Is it worth playing a ticket or two... yes. Is it worth spending $100 or more a week... no. In addition, I would say, only play the lottery (legal, fair) when it's a life changing result. Playing a $2 lottery for $1,000 is stupid... however, playing for $100,000,000+ opportunity, IMO could be worth it if someone has $2 to spare (lose).

Men, around the world, strive to have peaceful, pleasant, and happy life. Women who are demanding, loud, closed minded, and never content do not offer peace and happiness. What they offer is constant nagging, complaints, comparisons, and never ending headaches. What sane person would want that?

The fact is, the more educated the child or teen, the better off they'll be in life. Feelings will not fill your tummy, put a roof over your head, or keep you warm in winter. And yes, in real life, it's mostly winner takes all... there will be some winners... and a lot of losers. And once you are a loser, it's very very very hard to get out of that... because there is someone always smarter, younger, and more talented. So the choice is to start with feelings, or start with getting the best education?

@pinschrunner I can only assume the super disgusting ones & bird poops are from repos, abandoned/tow lot, or insurance companies. If someone is going to trade in their car, they won't super clean it, but they prob make it clean enough for trade-in. However, if anyone's traded in a car before, the sales-side is sneaky, and will start with a trade-in value, and then nickel and dime the costs such as a "reconditioning fee", or say "tires look old", "there's some dings", etc that need to get fixed so they can knock the trade in value down.

People may blame the government all they want... but the final reason the situation they are in is due to their own decisions. It's not like there is 90% unemployment... most people are still working, and living. For students, the two years before graduating... did they do internships to get work experience and connections... or did they go on vacations and spend endless hours on their smartphone? For someone older who is 35yo+... how much savings do they have? Outside of a mortgage, how much debt did they incur for a car, dining out/take-away, vacations, and needless products? Also, for both, did you get an education that is in demand like engineering, bio science? For the adult man, why didn't you do research on the company you are joining... if they are about to fail within three months, the warning signs must be obvious.

@tukahimata1416 This was a young guy, so prob not a roadside job, but looking for an office job. That said, even if it's a roadside job, then he could prob check if restaurants need a dishwasher, busser, or convenience store clerk. From what I can tell, a lot of these young people don't want to take jobs that they don't like or is hard work (manual labor). Even in America, the best time to look for a job is when you have a job... any job. Employers will look at you differently if you are employed and looking to do better... vs unemployed, and handing out 1,000 generic carbon copy resumes.

@Heloise O'Byrne In the past, if you go to certain areas, you walk up to the door, and the wrong race, you could get shot. The problem now is that it used to be certain areas, now they have random attacks in public, so no where is "safe" anymore (busy subway, supermarket, mall, sidewalk, in daylight). And yes, the homeless are a large part of this, since they are on drugs, have mental illness, and nothing to lose.

While I understand some people have an emotional attachment to their cars... but if your car is 15-20years old, and you need to put in $5K or more, you really really need to seriously think about getting a new car (esp those 20yrs+). While expensive, new cars have greater safety, new gadgets such as pairing your phone to the infotainment system, better gas mileage, and of course, less likely need for major repairs. That said, cars today are not build at good as cars 20 years ago, so it's unlikely going to last as long. Say if a car/truck is worth $10K... but you need to put $5K to get it up to that value, it's not worth it. The chances of a $1K+ repair bill is just around the corner, and often, closer than you think or would like.

@penguinvic9892 I would say, who's fault is that? You accepted the date, and both your "friend" and them mislead you... or you were not explicitly clear enough that no children. And guess what, you are alive, and survived that one date. In this situation, the mother was only trying to encourage her to go on a blind date... no big deal. She can say no. As for other people pressuring someone... that's their own fault for not standing up for themselves by saying very firmly, and loudly, that they don't want their "help". If they don't have the backbone to stand up for themselves, I'm certainly not going to by sympathetic. I suspect the woman only made the video because she wanted to go on the blind date, but was just ashamed it took her mother to find one for her. Now, having given her baised one sided view, she can go on that date, and if it fails, blame her mother... and not herself.

The "deal" shown isn't very good. Based on my past car buying experience (Honda, Toyota, Acura), of which, I'm NOT squeezing every last penny from the deal... I try to get a new current year model with less than 10 miles on the odometer for MSRP out the door (that's including taxes, destination charges, and registration/licensing fees). Accessories are added at 40%-50% less than retail, but installed (they always seem happy to do this... which also leads me to believe I'm leaving money on the table). The sales price is approx -10.1% less than MSRP... and when you pile on the other charges, it get's me back to MSRP, out the door. IMO, that's an decent deal. My last new car was in 2021... -13.1% off MSRP, and 0%/48mo financing (no rebates thou).

Don't be fooled... Ford made $255M for Q2'24 alone, which prob put it to over a billion dollars in net income (after taxes) for the year. The auto mfg industry is a high fixed cost business... so when sales slow down just a little, they still incur the costs (factories, union employees, and supply chain). That said, when sales pick up, they are making money hand over fist since fixed costs don't change, and each incremental car/truck only costs the variable portion (which is prob pretty low). They may have some financing risk. Spoiler... stock buybacks are very terrible investment for a company. Buying back stocks don't help anyone, other than artificially manipulate earnings per share. Why? Ford has 3.9 billion shares outstanding. If they bought back 50 million shares, for ~$540M ($10.85/share)... does anyone really think that's going to move the stock price needle for more than a hour, let alone one day? There would still be 3.85 billion shares outstanding. It's like taking a cup of water from a swimming pool... sure, there's mathematically less water (volume) in the pool, but will anyone really notice (or care)?

For the narrator, I think an older successful woman who looks good is likely only going to bring you headaches, as she will be very demanding, and also require you to be "better" than her in every way... money, physical, social standing, etc. As for a woman with one child, it depends if the other man is involved or not. If the other man is involved, then it won't end well as there's always a constant 2nd man around. If she is young, one child who is very very young, pretty, very good personality, and has her own money... that might not be bad, as the child will only know you as their father, and will take care of you when you are old.

Older, rich, and powerful women are typically demanding, loud, and argues a lot... what man, rich or poor, would want to live like that? The woman thinks she is helping the man to be more successful by complaining, nagging, and yelling at him to do better... but in reality, if the man wanted to be more successful, he would do it on his own.

There are zero secrets if there is a major attack or invasasion. Why? It's the logistics needed to supply tens of thousands of troops, along with stockpiling of medical supplies, and doctors. That's why Russia's invasion of Ukraine was well known, because they had to amass huge number of troop, arms, and supplies. For any invasion of TW, it would require a high concentration of both planes, rockets, pilots, and above all else, fuel and spare parts. Given these things are easily tracked, any invasion should not be a surprise.

@ It likely depends on each person's hair type... thin, oily, coarse, been treated, colored, long/short, etc. I'm not an expert, but I would think hair dryer a combination of actual (real vs claimed) high/low CFM/air flow & settings, multiple heat/no-heat settings, and varied attachments. The more ways the hair dryer can be adjusted and attachments, the more likely someone can find the sweet spot for their hair (and also increase the air flow and/or heat in a pinch).

It's one thing to be an owner of a business, but as a cleaner employee... there is no future. While 5,000 RMB is a paltry wage starting wage for white collar (but there has to be a reason for that... low grades, no experience, poor interview skills, low end university, etc), the goal is to move up the organization, and become a manager or senior engineer. I would like to know if his parents are rich, and he can afford to goof off, and will inherit the family business, or a big pile of money. Doing manual labor is OK when you are in your teens through 30's... but once you hit your 40's, it's going to be very tough. Not sure what upward mobility there is in a consumer home cleaning business, as there is zero skill involved, and very low barriers to entry.

Cars and trucks are so expensive, and financing terms extend out to six or seven years.... it makes $1,000 or $2,000 or even $3,000 seem like a rounding number when signing the papers on a $60,000 or $80,000 vehicle. People need to realize that $3,000 is worth how much of their life? Assume someone makes $60,000 a year... or approx $30.00/hr. After taxes, SS, Medicare, disability, and other deductions, they are prob making $22.50/hr take home. Divide $3,000 by $22.50, and that's 133.3 hours... or 3.3 weeks. That's not even including financing charges... they just gave away 3.3 weeks of their working life for not trying to get deal. Financing could add another $683 ($3,000 @ 7% 6yrs)... or another 30.4hrs of work. That's crazy.

Cars/trucks have a very high fixed cost structure, along with long-lead times. A car has ten's of thousands of parts, and take around 4-12 weeks to assemble. Given there are thousands of parts, they are trying to coordinate delivery on, and align with the assembly window, it's very very hard to switch platforms. In addition, they have extremely high fixed costs in massive factories, equipment (depreciation), and union employees... so if they mis-forecast what product to build, it'll take three to six months to course correct (since you just can't ask a supplier to send over 5,000 widgets overnight.. because those are also made-to-order). That said, given a high fixed cost structure, every incremental car sold is extremely profitable.

When testing for hand tools, it would be good to start adding in Amazon Basics into the mix. Given that Amazon is now selling tons of hand tools, and is basically available to everyone in the USA (it's just as easy to order from Amazon vs going to Wally World, HD, or Lowes). For example, an Amazon Basics 1/2" Drive Click Torque Wrench (20-150ft lbs), it's $34.48. That's a hard price to beat... with a 4.3 out of 5 stars, and 5,614 reviews as of today. While I typically like German or Japanese tools, but for the rare case I need a torque wrench, $35 seems like a deal.

So you are in favor of collapsing the entire US economy because you don't like new car prices? Great... time to stock up on dry dog food since that's what people will be eating for the next two generations. There's a reason why the government keeps bailing out the auto industry the last 50 years... there are hundreds of thousands of jobs tied to the auto industry, both directly and indirectly... this includes making cars, selling cars, car part suppliers, car advertising... and if all those salaries go away, so does resturants, auto mechanics, supermarkets, construction, home sales, appliance sales, etc. If the gov't allows the auto industry to collapse, it will have a cascading effect on everyone in the US. No one is forcing anyone to buy a new car... but hoping they fail is like lighting your hair on fire to keep warm.

Having bought several new cars over the years, and gained experience from each transaction... from being ripped off to getting a decent/good deal (IMO), I think CQA hit it on the head with having knowledge. If you spend some time doing research, and watching a few YT videos, you can prob SAVE at LEAST $2,000 or more. Assume you spend 10 hours doing research... that means you are saving over $200+ per hour (after tax dollars). So unless you are making more than $250K/year... spend a few hours doing some research and be willing to walk away from a dealer (spoiler, if you are in a mid-sized city, there are prob four or eight dealerships within a 100 mile area that's selling the EXACT same model, trim, and color. If you chose an alternative brand and model, you can prob even save more.

IMO, if you need a truck... and willing to buy a domestic brand, this is prob ta very good time to buy one (even a Japanese one). Things may get complicated & problems when tariffs get implemented and parts become more expensive. Even if the car is assembled in the USA, most of the parts and electronics that go into that car are imported from China, Vietnam, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, and Mexico. Beyond just tariffs, if there is a trade war, parts may even be held up, and fewer or no trucks coming off the assembly line. And it only takes a few missing parts to shut down an assembly line. And given it's an auto part, it's not that easy to just build a plastic or electronic widgit in the USA given there are company patents and it still has to pass minimum federal safety tests and standards, which can take years.

Having an almost un-natural need to get my white's very white, I've experimented often on how to best clean whites. Your tests may be consistent, but it's not set up to maximize cleaning. Two big flaws in your testing is 1) not using enough water. Even if you are washing a few items... using more water will greatly help cleaning. 2) you washed in cold. While mfg say you can use cold water... hot water definitely will give you better performance. Other things you didn't do is pre-treat the stains. If you pretreat even a little bit, your stains will definitely see an improvement (in the future, you can try laundry testing pre-treatments... Shout, OxyClean, bleach, Borax, direct detergent, etc), plus a pre-soak or pre-wash. I use a little boost of Borax, OxyClean, bleach, Tide, and wash in hot water and not overloading. This combo will get your whites unnaturally white, like if you just bought it. If your whites are been dingy white for a while, continue to wash your whites like this, and you'll see them get bright white over time.

OK, this started off ok... but the last extended bit about comets and how it will impact China's government is beyond stupid, idiotic, and just plain dumb. It might have been a fun 10 second statement, but to make a whole case the collapse of China is due to some comet just means the person writing the news believes in fairy tales, voodoo, spirits, and just f'ing crazy. The more you push nutter stories like this, your channel will lose any credibility. Might as well say that when Mercury is in retrograde, everyone will will the lottery, and live for a million years.

@karlschauff7989 IMO, dealers move volume so they don't have to pay the floorplan, but at the same time, rake in the $$$ through the financing. Unless they got a 800+ credit score to secure promotional financing, they'll likely have to get a loan. Dealers are notorious in "matching" interest rates, and if they can get a financing company to finance for less, pocket the difference. Or worse yet, they find out how much the customer can afford, or slightly can't afford, and then magically finds a finance company to fit that monthly payment. But the same thing happens, the dealership finds a finance company willing to finance for a lower rate, but dealer inflates the rate to meet the payment, and pockets the difference. Same shady stuff happens on home loans... that's why mortgage brokers have yachts, mansions, and a fleet of Mercedes... they cheat customers by pocketing the interest rate spread (but with cars, the loan is on $60K... homes, it's 10x the size, or $600K, so they could be pocketing $5K-25K+ per mortgage).

It's not "difficult"... the answer is yes, quality is way way way down since the 80's, 90's and even early 00's. Quality today is likely trying to build to last about eight years of of not well taken care of car. Why? It's because the typical car loan is now (67.4mos) nearly six years (72mos). So the failure point is slightly longer than a car loan. We are fortunate that USA has very varied climates (wet, dry, snow, sun, humidity) and terrains (mountains, deserts, coastlines, mountains, etc) , so car mfgs have to build to the worst conditions (to avoid warranty work), and should last through the car loan. If one was to live in a a moderate climate state such as California, drive reasonably (no hard starts, heavy towing, not driving up hill all the time, etc), and do proper maintenance... the car should still last well over that eight year mark. That said, if someone drives hard, lives in the upper northeast with snow, road salt, sea salt, and towing loads up hill often, that car or truck prob won't last that long.

The reason why auto mfg can lower prices so much is because making cars are a very high fixed cost business. What that means is that auto mfg made huge tens of billions of dollars investment to build factories, buy robotic equipment, and transportation (big rig trucks, leases at ports, etc). Basically, the auto company paid for the factory and equipment, and it doesn't matter if it's being used or sitting idle. The cost for parts to build the car along with the human labor is the variable portion, and prob not that much. So as long as they can sell a car for more than the parts & labor costs, they are making money. On paper it's a loss, but at least they are taking less of a loss (example, if a car costs $20,000 to build and sells for $40,000 MSRP by dealers, but the parts & labor portion is $8,000, and $12,000 is deprecation of building and equipment. So as long as the mfg can sell a car for more than $8,000, they are actually making money). Just making this up, the other $20,000 between full product cost and what the dealer sells includes all the marketing, rebates, interest rate buydown, warranty costs, etc...prob split $5,000 for dealer profit, $5,000 for marketing/advertising/promotion, and $10,000 for car mfg "profit".

I really liked how you used previously reviewed products in this repair video. I think if you enjoy putting these car (or maybe other product) repair videos, want to help others to try making their own repairs, you may consider putting a beginner's auto tool kit, with recommended products (many you've already done reviews on) gloves, safety equipment, wrench sets, pliers, torque wrench, etc. Other kits you can consider such as basic home toolbox (for new home owner, or moving out for the first time), cleaning your AC, car wash kit (review pre-set kits, and/or build your own kit), in-home cleaning kits (kitchen, carpet, bathroom), etc. If you haven't done a review on the items yet, it can give you a chance to review them (such as bathroom kit soap scum removal, hard water removal, use of toilet tank/bowl cleaners, etc).

I have worked closely with many many teachers in the past in a classroom setting. I volunteered to come in an teach an hour a week for 10 weeks. I've prob done this 10-12 times. I've met teachers from Kindergarten through high school, from moderately to long-tenured teachers. I also had a friend who became a teacher. From what I can tell, there are generally two types of teachers... 1) those who are highly invested in wanting to teach children correctly, they are kind, and happy with their profession. These are good people. 2) the second type of teacher is always complaining, they don't like children, they don't like their profession, but they won't quit because the job pays a lot, excellent benefits, Union job security, and excellent pension. These people are not nice, are somewhat mean, and very entitled. I suspect these left over women teachers fall into the second category.

@sbalogh53 I can see making a complex dish at home could cost more than ordering a single dish... as some recipes require certain items, and they are only sold in much more quantities than it takes to make one dish, so the extra may go to waste. However, most basic dishes are simple, use few ingredients, and much cheaper to make at home. For example, a huge pot of rice can prob be made for less than $1 (all one needs is rice, water, pot, and stove). The extra rice can easily be made into fried rice the next day for maybe $1 more (egg, onion, carrot, peas, soy sauce, pan, stove). Other easy, and delicious dishes can be roast chicken (salt, pepper, oven), and the bones can make a broth or soup. A bag of rice or potatoes don't cost much, but can easily feed a family with many tasty dishes cheaply. If one is low on, or does not have money, they should stretch out their funds as much as possible, since they don't know where their next check/cash will come. Having tasty food doesn't have to be expensive, but it does take a little bit of work in the kitchen.

This is an extremely interesting topic, but the testing was a bit underwhelming. First off, I don't know how you missed Vornado heaters. That is prob a top seller on Amazon, and is in every big box store in the USA with tons of different models. In addition, it is a pyamid shaped heater low to the ground/base, and is difficult to tip over. As for warming a room test, based my my expereince with prob six or eight different heater models.types, fan forced heaters typically heat up a room quicker as more air is being passed through the heathing element (so why no CFM test?). I'm also surprised you didn't test thermostat accuracy. Most of these model have built in thermostats which are either either set by exact temp, or by high-med-low. It would've been nice to understand how accurate these thermometers are (are they wildy off... which I'm sure they are, maybe except for Dyson), or what does Hi vs Med vs Lo temp mean for each? I did like the engergy consumption tests, along with heathign the room test (and I understand time constraints of testing). Maybe a future part 2 sometime.

@SlavTiger You do know these clips are all framed and edited to look bad right for views... to make a buck? This isn't real news, it's basically entertainment and propaganda wrapped together. And if it didn't draw clicks and views, they won't get paid... so of course they are going to publish sensationalized, and extreme videos. In the early clips, they complain about having weekend sports games (which they do in the US also), but later, another school complain they can't play sports on the weekend. These videos are mostly edited clips, and unless you understand Chinese, the narrator can say anything they want, and we wouldn't know. I recommend you start thinking for yourself, vs just believing everything you hear on YT.

There is a reason why car dealerships are called "stealerships". The car service dept is just like anything else in the car world... every dollar you pay them is money in their pocket, and they are insatiable in wanting money (profits, sales targets, etc). That said, the service advisor is prob your best advocate for you (providing discounts/honoring coupons, telling you of free or discounted services, etc). That said, it starts with you knowing what you want, and asking questions. If you don't ask, they will most likely not volunteer. Also, be sure to read the service techs notes on work that was done, or recommended. Often times, recommended = optional. I remember one time I was told my brakes needed to get changed, and thought it was early for brakes, but the service advisor recommended it... I agreed to get it done since I didn't want a second trip... what I should've done was ask how much brake was left (but I didn't). I did remember to ask for the old parts back... and when I saw how much brake pad was left (over 1/3), I knew I got ripped off... I never went back to that stealership again for service. There have been other dealerships where they said the brakes are getting worn, but I prob won't have to change them for another oil change or two based on how much it's been wearing down.

I was thinking about your question yesterday about sponsorship for your channel. I thought of it some more, and it does really come down to what you want to do with this channel, and how you want to grow. Do you want to make this a full time profession, and eventually be like Peter Z who writes books and travels to give lectures on geo politics? Or do you want to just monetize YT and any short form, and be content? If your goal is the former, wanting to grow beyond YT, I would caution taking on sponsorships, as that could reflect on your impartiality. In addition, given how benzytine some companies are, you don't know who is the ultimate parent company. What happens if your sponsor turns out to have extreme political leanings? Or worse, the sponsor is purposely trying to ruin your credibility? Good luck.

Banks give all sorts of excuses, but at the same time, customers also make up all sorts of stuff to blame the bank for all sorts of reasons. For example, was the kid's account brand new (less than 30 days, or less than six months)? Was there any past checks deposited and had bounced checks in the past? Was the balance negative at the time of deposit (this happens often when balances are low, and various fees hit the account)? Was the check given to the kid a counter check? All of those are suspicious, and can trigger additional scrutiny. If you have a physical check, and concerned about it being placed on "hold", or if there might be a problem. I highly recommend going to the bank that the check was drawn off of, and cash it for paper money. That said, asking for the branch manager, and have them help you call the customer service line for assistance or find out who the regional manager is and call/email them the problem.
