It feels like a rehash of the original movie, Daniel is highly unlikeable, the tournament sequence is highly rushed, the fighting scenes are dull, and neither the bonsai shop subplot nor the romantic subplot with Jessica go anywhere. Mike also doesn't have much personality other than being angry all the time

They also don't know that the guy in red is actually hired by Terry to constantly harass Daniel.
