I don't drink cocktails that much nowadays, but this would be my answers: - I wanted to try new flavors yes, I think it's cool to see what you can make out of different liquor, and I think it looks more classy - I was tired of beer and wine because the drinking age in Norway where I come from is 18 for beer and wine and 20 for booze, so for two years I did not have that much options (I also went to a lot of parties or dance clubs, so you can imagine that I quickly got tired of drinking the same type of alcohol). Nowadays however, I think beer and wine are good enough since I mostly drink for the atmosphere; beer gets me in a party mood and wine makes me feel either formal or relaxed. I don't like whiskey that much anymore because I got a bad experience from drinking it once - I developed a taste for cocktails as soon as I turned 20 (drinking age in Norway like I mentioned), and I had a long period where I tried different cocktails to find my favorite. Now I don't care that much for cocktails anymore for some reason, but I think this video's got a lot to do with it

  5. It often seems like when a video/lecture/article etc. talks about feminimity, it instantly becomes more controversial (sorry if I may offend you women out there with this comment, it's just my impression)

  9. Vermouth has some flavor, and you put some oil from the lemon peel in the drink before adding the peel as a garnish
