  3. +DreDaDon__ The first Shrek is more than that; it has innuendos and adult references at the same time of having a straightforward story and warm atmosphere that children can enjoy, it has the hermit archetype (Shrek) and the conflict of being misunderstood because of bad rumors (in this case, Shrek being an ogre), and the "Hallelujah" sequence alone show 3 people feeling betrayed and lonely and has a lot of philosophy (what I especially like about it is that Shrek got what he wanted, but realizes that he is more lonely than before, while Fiona doesn't understand what "true love" means anymore)
