The problem is that many important aspects of Alexander's life is omitted in the movie, and Colin Farrell's acting isn't convincing enough, so if you want to really see a biography of Alexander the Great, you don't get much. Film critics and historians also wanted to see more battles than dramatic sequences since it was the battles and his leadership abilities that made Alexander so great (but of course the battles shown in the movie was highly altered from history) I used to like the movie, but after I had a school project on Alexander the Great, I immediately started to dislike it
