  3. I find RT to be more reliable than the audience's responses; with a few exceptions, my reaction to movies is almost the exact same as RT

  4. Rotten Tomatoes is a gathering of reviews from movie critics (as well as audience reviews), while IMDB only has reviews from users. I prefer RT because: 1. I rarely agree with the audience 2. There is a consensus so that I have an overall expectation 3. I think the scoring system gives a better image than using the 1 to 10 scale 4. Many of the reviews I've read on IMDB are subjective and one-sided, and sometimes I think the points they give from 1 to 10 don't match their review
