  1. The trailer for "Pink Floyd -- The Wall" was kind of misleading, but I was actually relieved when I saw the film. When I saw the trailer, they basically showed just the most uncomfortable scenes like those creepy masks, Pink running in only his boxers, a close up of the sadistic teacher, Pink suffering in the pool of blood, the animated sequences by Gerald Scarfe, Pink being injected with drugs and screaming, someone lying in some kind of hospital bed, and the skinheads. I don't know what I expected to see, but it looked like it was going to very graphic and violent. It turned out to be a subtle movie about someone suffering, but more in a psychological way than a physical way, the movie was very creative and original, I wanted to hear more songs by Pink Floyd, and there were more scenes that were painful to watch because Pink was depressed and felt isolated than scenes that were painful to watch because they were gory and graphic
