Why? Did you expect to see a superhero movie? And are you one of those conservative moviegoers who cannot watch a post-modern film because you are watching it from the wrong perspective?

Adil Zohrri I don't speak "yo, yo" language. If you don't have a proper argument for why you think it's a horrible movie, then your opinion is invalid to me

Adil Zohrri I didn't say that you had to care about my play, I just said I liked the movie because I had lots of associations and could relate much of the plot and the characters to myself and my experiences (some of them include acting in theatre). I also mentioned my experiences just to emphasize the fact that I find the movie relatable. And saying the plot was boring and bland is not good enough; I need more details. Your argument are also too subjective and informal for me to take seriously. If that's your reviewing style, then I'm not interested in hearing more I respect that you don't like the movie, but that's just your opinion if you don't have a proper argument

Adil Zohrri you call that an argument?

I agree that those actors should win at least once, but there have been many great actors and actresses over the years who have won: - Katherine Hepburn - Spencer Tracy - Bette Davis - Vivien Leigh - Karl Malden - Marlon Brando - Robert de Niro - Meryl Streep - Dustin Hoffman - Daniel Day-Lewis - Denzel Washington - Anthony Hopkins - Tom Hanks - Philip Seymour Hoffman - Forest Whitaker - Heath Ledger - Jared Leto - J.K. Simmons I also think Al Pacino is great, but he should have won for "The Godfather" (or part 2) instead of "Scent of a Woman". Same goes for Humphrey Bogart who should have won for "Casablanca" instead of "The African Queen"

+1997residente So what if it's long and slow-paced? It excels in the aspects and formal qualities for its specific type of movie
3
+Giuseppe Brancato Plus, it can be interpreted as an allegory of tyranny and abuse of authority, and how only a few actually dare to stand up to themselves to do something with this injustice
2
+cheesyanuscorn Then you haven't seen many movies
2
1. L.A Confidential lost to "Titanic", not "Forrest Gump" 2. Citizen Kane WAS nominated for Best Picture 3. "Boring" is not an argument in aesthetic judgement
2
He was nominated for Best Actor

+Mike Paul Birdman is meant to be artistic and focus on aesthetics and free associations. If you have to criticize it, then at least criticize it for what it is instead of what it's not
1
Adil Zohrri there's more to the story than just that, but you obviously don't dig deep enough into the story
1
Adil Zohrri with your reasons and arguments, I find that hard to believe
1
"For your information"
1
Is that so? Then why are there so many musical performances at the West End theatre in London?
1
"Boring" is not an argument
1
I want for proper reasons for your statement or a better word; Just because a movie is boring to you does not make the make movie bad or overrated for the general audience, and "boring" is too subjective to be taken seriously
1
partha pratim Pandit Once again, another person who apparently don't know how to have a serious discussion, or is not mature enough
1
partha pratim Pandit Looks like you didn't finish school either

partha pratim Pandit What did you study? Trolling arts?
