One thing I learned was false already as a 3rd grader: "The teacher is always right". There were so many times that a teacher claimed something and I had to bring an entire encyclopedia to the school to prove him/her wrong. And now at the University, I wrote an entire bachelor thesis where a large portion of the text was disproving myths and misconceptions the professors have been spewing out for the last few years. Another similar thing is that the teachers always make it seem like they're the top of the world and are the best sources for knowledge, but then you quickly come across people outside of school who are way more experienced with a certain topic since they've dedicated their lives to it.
