+Giuseppe Brancato It was my first association too

Ken G Tim Roth was considered, but had to turn it down. Besides, we don't know how it would have turned out for either of them. Who knows? Tim Roth could have nailed it too

+Rachel Isakowitz (ofrah1) I've also read that Daryl Hannah has not even seen "Wall Street" yet
2
Seriously? What about Philip Quast or Norm Lewis?
2
+Michael Colby Yes, I think it was the writing and narrative that critics thought were the biggest flaws with the movie too

If you've seen the stage musical or the concerts, you know Crowe pales in comparison

Hugh Jackman and Sacha Baron Cohen were terrible singers
1
+Roboclops It's horrible compared to Philip Quast and Norm Lewis though
1
+Brandon Russ Russell Crowe sounded bored
1
Basically, but the difference was most likely bigger in these movies
1
+Stephanie Dowell The Les Mis concerts have way better singers (Samantha Barks performed there too, so she's amazing in the movie)

Doesn’t mean that it couldn't have been good. Tim Roth is a great actor

+PC PRINCIPAL It is for acting

+LB2007 And if he does "Hamlet", he would just be too uncomfortable and quit. Want proof? A stage adaptation of "Hamlet" made him quit stage acting for good.

+Georgia O'Keeffe Daniel Day-Lewis is too over-the-top and centralized. Can't imagine him doing a subtle movie just as well, or playing a bit part that doesn't take too much attention in a distracting way
