They're only including movies from 1980 and up (This is the end of a "worst movies per decade" series) 2. It has several times today been called a "so bad it's hilarious" type of film

The RT scores are the percentage of critics who have given a positive review, so it gives an impression of how likely it is that the general public will be pleased. There’s also a difference between just liking/disliking something out of personal reasons and judging them based on certain criteria for their specific types of movies. Critics can for example personally hate "E.T." but still give it critical acclaim. The biggest mistake a critic can make is to solely base the judgements on his personal bias and solely on behalf of himself. You're obviously not very experienced if you don't know these things

  7. Ty​ I'm not offended by someone's taste, I'm offended by their complete lack of argumentation and judgment abilities. There are so many people who criticize actors, directors, movies etc., but they forget that someone's judgment can be of even worse quality because the person doesn't have any skills in aesthetic judgment. A complete lack of argumentation doesn't make a criticism valid. And fyi, boring is not an argument since that's something internal and outside of the piece of art itself
