  5. JW_Gojifan "Jurrassic World" wasn't that acclaimed compared to the movies on this list though, and the critics generally thought that even though it's good on its own, it could not compare to the first movie It hasn't been that very popular among the awards either

  6. JW_Gojifan Everything is relative, so even when a movie is not supposed to top another one, critics' (or audience's) natural reaction would be "Seen it before" or "It just can't compare with the original" The movies on this list are also based a lot on critical reception and awards

  7. JW_Gojifan You don't like dramas? Ok, you're entitled to your opinion, but it's still a bit unusual. The reason they are so highly praised is because they are meant to portray realistic situations that the audiences can relate to and therefore get moved by, or that they can put themselves in the position of the characters. They are also praised because the stories are deep and it's therefore a lot to say about them. Dramas can show love, death, disfunctional families, addiction, troubles in the daily life, politics, loneliness and isolation, depression, feeling demotivated, and war just to mention some few topics

  8. Everybody brings up that "cutting his hand on the glass" scene, but I don't understand why. First of all, you don't get an Oscar nod for keeping your head cool Second of all, I thought his performance as a whole lacked subtext and motivation, and that he tried too hard to be evil and having high status, and his rants never built up. I also barely remember him I haven't seen "The Revenant" yet (not released in my country yet), but it better be the Leo performance I'm looking for; I'm so tired of the "Give Leo and Oscar"-hype
