YES! I was just waiting for "The Godfather" to be #1. I can just imagine that other actors would play him as deep-voiced, gruff, and loud (or like Clark Gable or Gregory Peck) since that's the stereotypical portrayal of a Mafia leader, but Brando thought outside the box and gave us the calm grandfatherly type with a hoarse voice that still has a natural authority and subtle intensity

Because Brando's performance is way more iconic and influential. Heck, De Niro's portrayal isn't really considered his most famous role anymore since most people think "Taxi Driver", "Raging Bull", or "GoodFellas" when they hear De Niro

Not to mention that people nowadays have the attention span of a 5 year old and only watch movies that are made for people with ADHD, for example Marvel movies

It's not about actors not being able to get literally replaced; it's about acting performances that are so iconic and/or influential that no portrayals from other actors will be able to recapture the feel of the original

@Compucles Ford's portrayal of Han Solo is still way more iconic than Ehrenrich's. Heck, I had not even heard about the latter until now
