  2. He's built up to be this dark, mysterious, and intimidating villain in the same way as Palpatine or even Col. Kurtz (Apocalypse Now). It even seemed like this was the direction "The Force Awakens" was going. Then came "The Last Jedi" and we got a weird alien dressed in a morning robe fully lit and dying before the battle has even begun
