Universal healthcare is less expensive as % of GDP. We don’t need to cut aid to Israel to fund healthcare, furthermore the money in the healthcare budget dwarfs what little money is spent on foreign aid. Especially foreign aid to just Israel

@TEAMPHY6 none of that is proof that Israel allowed the attack to happen. Failing to act on intelligence, particularly weak or lacking intelligence, is not proof of malicious intent. That Israel was unprepared in the face of vague warnings is not proof that they permitted the attack to go forward.

@SadaK-tr6dm they didn’t know when it would occur, and likely assumed whatever attack happened would be contained by defenders already positioned. It’s a heavy thing to say a whole country allowed this attack to happen, you need solid proof, not speculation.

@SadaK-tr6dm months before? So what? They knew in vague terms an attack was coming, from Hamas, an entity that attacks them all the time. Not that significant or telling. Probably they assumed their defenses were adequate.

@SadaK-tr6dm in hindsight seems obvious, but in the moment there are other factors that may make it less obvious. I find this more believable, for example, than a conspiracy theory.
