@rookiesw347 you are wrong. You do remember that it was Trump who released 5000 Taliban prisoners from Afghan prisons? And that it was Trump who negotiated with the Taliban and undercut the Afghan government? And that Generals Milley and McMaster blame the Trump Administration for sidelining and demoralizing the Afghan government, causing its collapse?

@rookiesw347 As Biden said before, the withdrawal was chosen by Biden because the Taliban were at their strongest level in years, thanks to Trump, who was their critical asset. So…Biden had a difficult choice between committing more Americans to fight and die to undo the Taliban’s surge, or to leave and redirect US resources to more immediate concerns like China and Russia, which Trump also allowed to fester though his corrupt dovishness. This would never have happened had Clinton become President in 2016. But anyways, Trump’s legacy has been damaging and blaming Biden for trying to fix it is misplacing the blame.
