China is genocidal against its own people especially in Tibet and East Turkestan. Iran being better is nothing special. Speaking of, if you read NGO reports like the Democracy Index you will see that Iran is an authoritarian regime. And therefore Iran is one of the least developed nations on Earth, along with fellow regimes Russia and China. Any country in Europe and or the Americas is more developed.
