  2.  @discoverchina1885  their presence does not invalidate the reports of oppression and genocide committed by CCP authorities. If I had to guess, those are just token minorities co-opted by the CCP to curry international and domestic favor for the regime, and discredit the reports of genocide and tyranny. It’s a farce.

  3. I think it is worse than Sun City. Different at least. From what little I’ve learned on Wikipedia and other articles, South Africa let Sun City loose and told them “do as you wish, but stay away from us, thanks for all the land”. This is China saying “get out, assimilate, die out, and submit to the corrupt regime, give up your rights and submit”.

  4. Ironically, I think many Tibetans and other minorities in China would want to be treated like South Africa treated Sun City. The minorities don’t want to claim all of China for their own, Urumqi doesn’t want Beijing. They want to separate from China, at least partially. Black South Africans wanted to be included.
